Job Details

Role: Workday Integration Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, test, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Document Transformation.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Student Information Systems, and IT teams to understand integration needs specific to the education environment.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Workday integrations with platforms such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Canvas, Ellucian, or other student systems commonly used in education.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance for all integrations in alignment with FERPA, HIPAA, or other education-related standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures, working proactively to resolve issues and maintain data integrity.
  • Participate in Workday release testing and implementation of new features, with a focus on impacts to education-specific configurations and integrations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all integrations and workflows.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Workday integration experience, with strong proficiency in:
    • Workday Studio
    • Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
    • Core Connectors
    • Calculated Fields
    • Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Experience in the education domain is heavily preferred (e.g., university systems, K 12, community colleges).
  • Familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS) and education-specific data architecture is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM data structures and business processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
