Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer help desk telephones for assigned account(s) and address customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Assist customers in resolving technical issues related to software and hardware by providing clear guidance and troubleshooting steps.
  • Handle more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their inquiries are resolved within the agreed-upon time frame.
  • Log and track inquiries using a problem management database, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize customer problems and complaints to ensure appropriate resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple inquiries effectively.
  • Experience using problem management databases or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
