SDET Engineer
Contract
Job Description:
7+ years of strong test automation experience.
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web and API layers using Selenium with Java and TestNG.
Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases across insurance applications (Policy, Billing, Claims, Portals).
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
Develop data-driven and modular test scripts, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
Perform API automation using Rest Assured or similar frameworks.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to implement shift-left testing in Agile sprints.
Contribute to performance, security, and accessibility testing efforts as needed.
Analyze automation test failures and drive root cause analysis to ensure stability.
Maintain test repositories and version control using Git.
Ensure traceability and reporting through Jira and Confluence.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Active participation in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives).
Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.
Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($55 - 60 hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
