RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking an AWS Solution Architect.
Summary:
An AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions on the AWS platform. They will work closely with internal partners to understand their business requirements, assess their existing IT infrastructure, and develop comprehensive cloud strategies that leverage AWS services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal/external partners to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and cloud adoption goals
* Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective solutions on the AWS platform, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
* Develop cloud architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards
* Lead cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting applications for the cloud
* Implement DevOps practices for automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation and AWS CodePipeline
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to internal partners fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional certification
* Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on the AWS platform
* Expert in cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and security
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
