Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop and maintain low-code web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, and APEX application development, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development
Design, build, and deploy scalable applications using Oracle APEX.
Develop interactive reports, forms, dashboards, charts, and UI components.
Integrate APEX applications with external APIs and third-party systems.
Optimize application performance, security, and user experience.
Database Development
Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Design and maintain relational database structures (tables, views, indexes, constraints).
Perform data modeling, data migration, and ETL processes.
System Support
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain documentation including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
Quality & Security
Implement APEX security features (authentication, authorization, session state protection).
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 6+ years hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (version 19.x or higher preferred).
Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database concepts.
Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for UI customizations.
Familiarity with RESTful Web Services (Oracle ORDS).
Understanding of APEX security, roles, and access control.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) or Autonomous Database.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps pipelines.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Exposure to BI tools or data visualization frameworks.
