Job Title: Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant Public Sector (Projects, Grants, GL)

Location: Local to Los Angeles Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant with strong domain knowledge in the Public Sector to join our team. The ideal candidate should have deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Projects, Grants Accounting, and General Ledger (GL) modules and demonstrate hands-on experience implementing these solutions in government or public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP specifically Projects, Grants, and GL modules.
  • Collaborate with public sector clients to gather, analyze, and document finance business requirements.
  • Design and configure Oracle Cloud modules to meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate fit-gap analysis, perform functional testing, support UAT, and ensure data migration accuracy.
  • Provide post-go-live support, conduct training sessions, and document SOPs/user manuals.
  • Liaise with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and reporting needs.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector regulations, funding rules, and grants management policies.
  • Engage in solution design workshops and provide thought leadership in Oracle Cloud best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle ERP applications, with 3+ years on Oracle Cloud Financials
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle Cloud Projects (PPM)
    • Grants Management/Accounting
    • General Ledger (GL)
  • Proven experience working with Public Sector clients or Government agencies
  • Deep understanding of fund accounting, budgeting, cost allocations, and grant compliance in the public sector
  • Strong functional knowledge of project costing, billing, budgeting, and award lifecycle
  • Experience with configurations, testing, training, and data validation
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification(s)
  • Experience with Federal/State/Local Government financial processes
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher
  • Exposure to integrations with external systems, such as grants management platforms or financial reporting tools
