Rezult continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Software Engineer II to fulfill an immediate vacancy.
This individual will be a contributing member of the sanctions development team within AML Technology. The role includes developing, configuring and integrating financial crimes risk management solutions.
We are actively speaking with candidates that have experience with the following:
1. Developing configuring, integrating, financial crimes risk management solutions throughout application s lifecycle to meet compliance requirements.
2. Develop or manage database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures with Oracle and MS SQL environments.
3. Ensure applications functionality aligns with organizations compliance policies, providing automated efficient tools for regulatory monitoring.
4. Participate in compliance reviews, audit reviews, and remediation plan reviews to ensure solution development meets audit and regulatory requirements.
5. Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for complex applications in production.
6. Build and maintain security controls and monitoring to support company standards.
7. Lead and participate in the development, configuration, build, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.
8. Typically lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
9. Solve complex technical and operational problems. Mentor or coach teammates with less experience.
10. May oversee the work of a small team.
11. In an Agile environment:
- Responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks working directly, and engage with, the business from the beginning of the design work.
- Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding effectiveness of the design. Actively participate in refining user stories.
- Responsible for design, developing, and maintaining automated unit testing, and supporting integration and functional testing.
- Responsible for providing automated monitoring capabilities, providing warranty support, and providing knowledge transfer to production support.
- Develop code in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.
TOP 3 SKILLSETS:
1. Knowledge or database management principles: Oracle and MS SQL. Performance tuning, query optimization, data modeling
2. Experience in Agile Delivery Methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
3. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with analytical and debugging skills.
4. Four to seven years of IT experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience, or bachelor s degree
5. Professional experience building, configuring and integrating high-quality software product or services
In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
6. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
7. Ability to plan and manage projects tasks and solve complex problems by applying IT best practices.
8. Team management skills and vendor resource management experience (onshore and offshore).
9. Strong ability to work and communication effectively with cross functional teams such as IT, security and compliance teams.
10. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
11. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information such as architecture diagrams, code bases, file structure, or data mapping templates.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience developing financial crimes risk management solutions.
2. Experience installing, configuring, and deploying applications on OpenShift, Windows, or Linux servers
3. Experience with batch jobs through ESP, CA7 / Autosys Scheduler.
4. Basic knowledge of API messaging systems (i.e., MQ, JMS, Kafka)
5. Basic knowledge of Informatica (data mapping, ETL coding, file transformation)
6. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, LDAP, SSO
7. Knowledge with data encryption, SSL/TLS certification, security protocols, and audit/compliance reporting
8. Knowledge with Dynatrace and Splunk
9. Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
10. Experienced on containerization like Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes application deployments
11. Knowledge in setting up or enabling CI/CD process using GitHub and Jenkins integration. git-based application code development and/or DevOps Engineering
12. Experience with cloud technologies and architecture such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
13. Experience using WebSphere, WebLogic, IIS app/web servers, application containers, PODs, caching technologies.
14. Experience in system builds, server builds, system administration, patching, upgrades, backup, disaster recovery, Migration, Security, Performance Monitoring, and Fine-tuning on UNIX (Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux & SUN Solaris) Systems.
15. Experienced in High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
Additional Skillsets:
Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle SQL T-SQL and scripting Java, Bash, PowerShell/AWK, Python, Spring boot, web services REST, SOAP Git, Maven, and Jenkins, HTML, XML, Applets
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including (Ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Notepad++)
