Job Details
Job Role: UNIX System Administrator
Work Mode: Remote
Location: Sacramento - CA
My Client is actively looking for 10+ years of UNIX System Administrator, to support the administration, maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting of AIX/IBM and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems within the organization's IT infrastructure for client, existing and new Investment Office cloud solutions.
These are the required qualifications
- Must have minimum five 10 years experience with server infrastructure in an Enterprise level environment.
- Must have minimum five 10 years experience with IBM AIX in an Enterprise level environment.
- Must have minimum five 10 years experience with building, patching, and administering AIX, PowerHA, HMC, VIOS, & Managed Systems.
- Must have experience with troubleshooting of AIX based environment.
- Must have experience with IBM PowerVM virtualization environment (AIX).
- Must have experience with system build processes and procedures in a virtualized environment.
- Must have experience with monitoring capabilities to assist in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a UNIX based environment.
- Must have experience with hardening Operating Systems to meet information security standards.
- Experience with shell scripting/programming
- Experience with IBM Big Fix Patch Management
- Experience with IBM Tivoli Monitoring
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with physical server hardware break/fix
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to AIX, PowerHA, HMC, VIOS, & Managed Systems.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in an enterprise environment.
