Healthcare Business Analyst

Project Description:
Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems modernization and enhancement efforts. This includes working in a SAFe Agile environment across integrated Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), assisting with oversight of application enhancements, documentation, and project alignment with the agency s integrated solution goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate systems aligned with business strategy.
Support IT project oversight and ensure quality delivery of Medicaid application enhancements.
Participate as an IT stakeholder on initiatives involving multiple MES vendors.
Create and manage documentation and process artifacts to ensure consistency in delivery and alignment with agency direction.
Write detailed user needs, functional descriptions, and steps required to develop or modify systems.
Conduct business process reengineering and identify new technology applications to enhance operational efficiency.
Work in a SAFe Agile team environment to deliver enhancements in alignment with modernization goals.
Requirements:
Minimum:
4+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
Preferred:
2+ years of experience with Texas HHSC, Texas Medicaid, or CHIP systems.
2+ years of experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
