Job Duties:
Vendor Performance Management: Measure and report on vendor performance across financial (accruals), scheduling variance (servicing delays), quality, and safety. This involves regularly pulling/requesting data from external construction and transmission vendors (about 120M of work, 150 projects/year).
Data Analysis & Reporting: Assemble copious amounts of data, primarily using Excel (expert level with formulas, VLOOKUP, etc., is ideal; sound knowledge is a must-have), to create "report cards" on vendor performance.
Portfolio Management: Oversee roughly 10 Project Managers and 50-80 projects (shifting throughout the year). Monitor project stage gates, documentation readiness, and report project status to executive levels.
Vendor & Internal Collaboration: Work heavily with external vendors to build relationships and collaborate with internal Project Managers to ensure projects are on task.
ERP System Interaction: Pull POs by projects from SAP (knowledge of other ERP is fine), requiring an understanding of AP/AR, actuals, and accruals.

The Program Manager (Engineering) II will support the Gas Project Management team (transmission & construction) by focusing on larger-scale projects and managing external vendors. This is a crucial role for aligning projects, monitoring vendor performance, and reporting on a portfolio level to executive leadership.
