Key Responsibilities:
Perform Oracle Database 19c administration, including installation, configuration, backup/recovery, and maintenance.
Apply Oracle database security patches and ensure compliance with security standards.
Conduct database performance tuning, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Execute database upgrades and troubleshoot complex database-related issues.
Manage Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2.9) environments, including patching and upgrading cycles.
Support EBS application cloning, concurrent manager administration, and routine maintenance.
Work in an AIX Unix environment, including scripting and automation of tasks.
Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive monitoring and diagnostics.
Document procedures and create architecture diagrams; communicate effectively with IT leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Excel.
Support audit and compliance efforts as needed.
Be flexible and prepared to work after-hours or weekends for planned maintenance or emergency support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 6 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA with a focus on Oracle EBS.
Strong proficiency with Oracle Database 19c in production environments.
Extensive experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.9, including patching and upgrades.
Solid background in Unix (AIX) system administration and scripting.
Experience with Oracle OEM for monitoring and performance management.
Hands on experience with ETL (e.g., Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL-based ETL).
Hands-on Experience with Oracle APEX for building internal tools and dashboards.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Excel for tracking and collaboration.
Ability to create and present technical and architectural documentation.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Must be a team player with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
Hands-on experience with Oracle ATP (Autonomous Transaction Processing) and ADW (Autonomous Data Warehouse).
Knowledge of Audit Vault and Splunk for auditing and logging.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification.
Experience with SOX or internal/external audit processes.
Exposure to Oracle Middleware platforms (e.g. OIC, APEX)
Awareness of REST APIs and web services for integration with Oracle Cloud Applications.
