Certification and Evaluation Sr. Military Operations Analyst

Location: Fort Carson, CO

Description:

HigherEchelon is seeking a motivated and ambitious C&E Sr. Military Operations Analystto join the Space Control Planning Team in Colorado Springs, CO.

**This position is contingent upon contract award.**

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate within the command and across the joint Space Control community to share and learn the latest technical equipment, best practices, and current or developing TTPs to incorporate into
  • Plan, develop, and prepare recommendations to update/revise the Command's Standards and Evaluations Program focusing on the SCPT and SC mission areas and be able to support the additional USASMDC space mission areas.
  • Plan, resource, and conduct certification assessments for CPTs and SC teams.
  • Support the USASMDC Space Range planning, resourcing, and execution.
  • Support certifications and certification events to include brigade external evaluations (EXEVALs) by developing master scenario event list (MSELs), exercise development products when requested and coordinated through the G3 TREX
  • Conduct military decision-making process (MDMP), briefings, and professional writing for USASMDC space mission area.


Required Skills:
  • Experience in real-world U.S. Army Space missions and background in U.S. Army space SOP writing, evaluation, assessments, mentorship, and instruction.
  • Currently supporting Certification and Evaluation for G37.
  • Familiarity with space control planning and space operations software.
  • Knowledge of space control planning, space targeting, general space operations equipment, and space operations software applications.
  • Knowledge of how space enables the Warfighter.
  • Experience with space staff operations and space exercise support.
  • Above level staff experience including:
    • Orders production
    • Tier 1 level exercise planning
    • Staff processes
  • Professional experience in Army writing, briefing, and presentations.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, TS/SCI preferred.


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years or more of related experience and training to include:
    • US Army Advanced Individual Training - Geospatial Engineering, Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC), and Extensive Military Training in Operations, Space, and Geospatial Support.
