Job Details

An industry leader in digital print-on-demand is seeking a Senior Programmer to design and deliver product-based software solutions that streamline client data and file submissions. Your work will directly facilitate print production, fulfillment, inventory management, compliance reporting, and make a critical impact on efficiency, scale, and profitability across the organization.

This role requires developing data-centric Windows and web-based solutions, integrating with a wide range of systems and devices such as barcode scanners, weigh scales, printing presses, shipping platforms, inventory systems, and enterprise accounting tools. As a Senior Programmer, you'll own the full lifecycle of solution design, development, and delivery while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with Solution Architects and Technical Account Managers.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years professional experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and multithreaded programming
  • Proficiency in MS .NET (C#) with Windows servers
  • Hands-on experience with Java in Eclipse environments with Tomcat servers
  • Expertise in SQL Server (2005 or newer): relational database design, development, and support
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Knowledge of network communications (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, APIs, web services)
  • Familiarity with RAD, Agile, or similar development methodologies
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Microsoft certifications for related technologies
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database consistency models
  • Background in developing and supporting enterprise-scale integrations
