Job Description:
LOCATION : REMOTE
- We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience, preferably within the banking domain.
- This role involves extensive experience in Snowflake data migration, particularly from DB2, including schema and historical data.
- Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and SnowProcedures is essential, along with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles.
- Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark, and AWS Glue is required.
- The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration and ingestion pipelines into Snowflake.
- This position also involves query optimization, performance tuning, and ensuring data quality through testing and validation.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms and data orchestration/automation (CI/CD) is highly desirable.
