Job Title: Account Manager IT Staffing & Recruiting Location: Freehold, NJ Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Manager with experience in the IT staffing and recruiting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing existing client accounts, understanding their technical hiring needs, and working closely with recruiters to deliver top IT talent. This role is a vital bridge between clients and the delivery/recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of satisfaction.

Understand client business needs and translate them into detailed job requirements for the recruiting team.

Coordinate and manage the full recruitment process in partnership with the delivery/recruiting team.

Submit qualified candidates in a timely manner and track the interview process.

Handle rate negotiations, job order prioritization, and feedback collection from clients.

Resolve client issues, provide support, and ensure quality service delivery.

Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional placements or new teams.

Maintain and report on client activity using CRM or ATS systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Business, HR, or related field (preferred).

5 years of experience as an Account Manager or in a client-facing role within the IT staffing industry.

Strong understanding of IT technologies, job roles, and the recruiting life cycle.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using CRM, ATS, and recruitment platforms like Dice, LinkedIn, or Monster.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with MSP/VMS accounts and vendor management.

Ability to collaborate with offshore and onshore recruiting teams.

Understanding of various employment types (W2, C2C, 1099, etc.) and visa classifications (H1B, OPT, etc.).

Track record of growing accounts and achieving placement targets.
