Software Quality / Performance Lead

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Software Quality Assurance & Performance Lead to join the Credit development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, Agile team environment to develop cloud native, micro-service based financial services applications.

The Software Quality Assurance & Performance Lead will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze, define, document, and drive all aspects of solution quality and performance across the Credit platform domain areas (e.g. Collections, Originations, Servicing).
The member will set, drive and deliver the vision regarding strategic, technology, and toolset direction to support Credit's quality and performance capabilities. The member will work with global development and implementation teams to ensure the application is delivered meeting client's expectations.

This career opportunity is open to all CGI office locations across the U.S., but the member must be available to work during east coast work hours. Locations include Pittsburgh, PA; Charlotte, NC, Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX and Houston, TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for augmenting and maintaining the quality assurance lifecycle by leveraging industry best practices and tools.
Ensure software quality and performance requirements are met and performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Evaluate and expand automated test coverage to reduce defect rates
Work collaboratively with product development and implementation teams to ensure continued and demonstratable improvements in software quality and performance are attained.
Create, maintain, augment, and optimize automated test plans using best practices and toolsets
Manage and execute performance tests to evaluate system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
Analyze test results to identify system bottlenecks and root causes of issues
Create and maintain environment sizing models based on performance testing outputs
Team mentorship and capability expansion
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automated and performance testing

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing (functional and performance)
5+ years of experience in microservices / Kubernetes-based applications,
5+ years of experience in testing and test automation toolsets such as Robot Framework, Jmeter, Selenium.
5+ years of leading and developing quality assurance teams
Demonstratable experience in improving software quality and performance
Must be able to produce and document conceptual, logical & physical test plans
Working with business owners and technology to provide alignment of requirements, design, and implementation
Has experience performing implementation review and code reviews

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77,200-$180,200.
