Position Summary



The Oracle Fusion Procurement & SCM Technical Consultant
is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical components
that support Procurement and Supply Chain business processes within Oracle
Fusion Cloud. The role focuses heavily on integrations, extensions, reports,
and data pipelines using tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI
Publisher, OTBI, BICC, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.



You will work closely with functional teams and business
leads to implement scalable technical solutions that enable automation,
operational reporting, and smooth interaction between Oracle Fusion and
external systems.



Key Responsibilities: Technical Development
(Reports, Interfaces, Extensions)




  • Design,
    develop, and support OIC integrations for Procurement and SCM modules.

  • Build
    BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and data models for operational and
    analytical needs.

  • Develop
    FBDI/ADFdi templates, custom extract processes, and scheduled jobs.

  • Create
    custom APIs, web services, and REST/SOAP integrations for inbound/outbound
    flows.

  • Implement
    technical components across Oracle Cloud modules such as:




PO, SSP, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, SQM




Inventory, Receiving, Cost Management




Orders, Shipments, Item Master




  • Work
    with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical
    specifications.

  • Participate
    in solution design sessions with architects and client stakeholders.

  • Coordinate
    with internal and external teams on testing, cutover, and migration
    activities.

  • Troubleshoot
    end-to-end technical issues across Procurement/SCM processes.




  • Build
    and maintain OIC integrations using REST, SOAP, FTP, and file-based
    patterns.

  • Develop
    FBDI inbound loads and outbound extract pipelines.

  • Monitor
    integration runs, error queues, and partner interfaces.

  • Support
    master data loads (Items, Suppliers, Catalogs, UOMs, Negotiations).




  • Create
    operational reports for Procurement & SCM:




Purchase Orders




Requisitions




Receipts




Supplier performance




Item availability / inventory visibility




  • Build
    dashboards using OTBI with subject areas such as Procurement, Inventory,
    and Costing.

  • Create
    data models, burst reports, scheduled reports, and email delivery via BIP.




  • Assess
    quarterly Oracle Cloud updates for technical impacts.

  • Document
    end-to-end technical designs, integrations, and support guides.

  • Provide
    postgo-live hypercare and transition to support teams.



Required Qualifications




  • Bachelors
    degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related
    field.

  • 10
    years of technical experience with Oracle ERP, including 6%2B years in
    Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement & SCM.

  • Strong
    experience with:

  • Oracle
    Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • BI
    Publisher (BIP)

  • OTBI

  • SQL
    / PL-SQL

  • FBDI
    / ADFdi

  • REST/SOAP
    APIs

  • Essbase
    / Oracle Cloud BI (optional)



  • Experience
    in building integrations with:

  • Supplier
    systems

  • Logistics
    platforms (3PL/WMS)

  • Finance/AP

  • Manufacturing/Inventory
    systems





  • Preferred Skills




    • Experience
      with:

    • Oracle
      Visual Builder (VBCS)

    • Oracle
      FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence)

    • OIC
      B2B adapters

    • KPI
      dashboards and data pipelines



  • Knowledge
    of Procurement/SCM business processes (P2P, S2P, Inventory, Costing).

  • Experience
    with Agile delivery (JIRA, Azure DevOps).

  • Oracle
    Cloud certifications in OIC or SCM/Procurement technical areas.
