Remote

We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Duck Creek PolicyCenter and a strong background in software development. As a Duck Creek Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Duck Creek technologies to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Duck Creek PolicyCenter solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications using Duck Creek technologies.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the developed solutions through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Duck Creek PolicyCenter applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Duck Creek development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Duck Creek Developer with a focus on PolicyCenter.
  • Strong knowledge of Duck Creek architecture and configuration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and SQL.
  • Experience with web services, XML, and JSON.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other Duck Creek products such as BillingCenter and ClaimsCenter.
  • Certification in Duck Creek technologies.

Role 2: Duck Creek (Policy) contract to hire (must be able to go perm with no sponsorship)

Strong background in Duck Creek and has worked in a platform upgrade, a deep understanding of upgrade processes, and experience with troubleshooting complex issues.

Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy 7.x configuration and extension.

Proficient in Manuscript-based configuration using EXAMPLE Author.

Skilled in debugging tools: Data Tester, TSV, Trace Monitor, SQL Profiler, .NET Debugger, XSL Debugging.

Experience with XSL configuration and database development (SPs, views, functions, tables).

Experience working in Express 3 and cloud-based environments.

Work closely with QA teams to design and execute testing procedures for upgraded systems, verifying functionality, security, and compatibility.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during upgrade testing phases.

Proven experience leading platform upgrades and managing associated risks.

Ability to monitor system performance and resolve post-upgrade issues.

Experience with 3rd-party integrations and internal collections systems.

Proficient in SQL, .NET, C#, JavaScript, XSLT, and environment configurations.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models.

Experience with pre/post event frameworks and defect triaging.

Role 3 :Duck Creek (Billing) contract to hire (must be able to go perm with no sponsorship)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Duck Creek Billing solutions to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to design and deliver high-quality billing solutions.
  • Customize and configure Duck Creek Billing to meet specific business needs.
  • Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Duck Creek Billing.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest Duck Creek technologies and industry trends.
