Job Title: Github Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA/Cleveland, OH/Dallas, TX/Birmingham, AL/Phoenix, AZ
Function of the Group: Mitigating risks and cost reduction
Initiatives/Projects: Supporting Orange Rocket initiative. Team is bringing on GitHub enterprise as new source management tool - moving away from other tools and migrating everyone to GitHub enterprise so looking for help to help others migrate to the new tool.
Industry background: Open to all backgrounds
Team Dynamic:15 individuals - Product Owner - Lead Devs - Scrum Master - Other engineers
Roles and Responsibilities: GitHub / GitHub Actions Developer: DevOps developer with strong experience in GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. They may require basic Jenkins knowledge (optional) to understand and implement GitHub Actions. Develop and optimize GitHub Reusable Actions workflows for CI/CD. Integrate security scans, secrets management, and JFrog artifact storage. Support development teams with build and deployment troubleshooting.
Level 4: 6+ YRS
Must Have Technical Skills:
Hands-on expertise with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions (JavaScript)
CI/CD pipeline development experience
Proficiency in YAML and scripting languages (Shell, Python, or Golang, automation)
Knowledge of cloud / Kubernetes and basic DevSecOps practices
Flex Skills/Nice to Have: Basic Jenkins knowledge to understand and implement GitHub Actions.
Soft Skills: Good attitude, Hard working, Continuous learning attitude, Leadership skills
Education/Certifications: Experience in lieu of education No certs
