<>Our healthcare client is looking for a Data Architect to join their team for a contract to hire position. </>
100% remote - EST or CST only!
Must have healthcare payor-side application experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 7 years of relevant work experience OR 11 years total relevant work experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role preferable in health care and insurance services.
  • Demonstrates Payer industry specific knowledge of business and processes
  • Experience with enterprise data management technologies including data mining and segmentation techniques, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL tools, SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, and master data management solutions.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Understanding of data lifecycle management, data quality principles, and data security best practices
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure BI and Analytics Stack including Azure SQL and related technologies
  • Preferred experience with Snowflake
  • Proven ability to work in distributed database and systems
  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives, and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects and systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information).
  • Ability to articulate the business impact of IT infrastructure and solutions that translates technical performance into business success metrics.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication.
  • Strong organizational skills must be able to design, lead and manage teams composed of stakeholders across diverse teams/domains
  • Demonstrates good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies.
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Predictive, Data Mining, & Machine Learning experience
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouse modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, DataVault, etc.)
  • Experience dealing with real-time and large batch data pipelines
  • Understanding of FHIR standards
