Business Systems Analyst-Unemployment Claims

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to review projects to determine timelines, cost limitations, procedures needed, technician requirements and resources necessary. Coordinates pick-up of the materials. Implements the work plan and assigns duties. Provides project reports for management.

Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory:> 7 years experience; specialized skills required (e.g. bilingual skills)

Requirements

• Experience delivering new products/services with system integration and operational support
• Hands-on API integration (REST APIs preferred)
• Workflow automation and compliance-driven process improvement
• Requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management (user stories, acceptance criteria)
• Cross-functional collaboration (service, implementation, billing, product, engineering, QA, vendors)
• Intermediate SQL/data analysis
• Reporting and dashboarding (Power BI or Tableau)
• UAT coordination, impact analysis, change management
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Organizational Skills

• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deliverables
• SharePoint site and document management
• Meeting scheduling and calendar/email coordination
• Clear business writing (minutes, documentation, updates)
• Intermediate/advanced Excel (pivot tables, logs, trackers)
• Familiarity with project/task tools (Jira, SharePoint tasks)
• High attention to compliance and confidentiality (unemployment claims environment)
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination

Desired Skills:
lean six sigma and/or PMO certification, excel, Power Bi experience, Visio

Experience:5-7 years required
Education: Bachelor s degree preferred
