Job Details

Role Summary:

Looking for a Plan to Produce (Pl2Pr) expert with deep expertise in S/4HANA Production Planning and Execution. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry and discrete manufacturing, and will lead implementation and optimization of advanced planning and production processes integrated across SAP systems.

This role requires a blend of functional SAP knowledge, industry insight, and the ability to work with integrated systems (e.g., MES, PLM) to support complex manufacturing operations.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • (no exceptions)

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or Discrete Manufacturing

  • At least 5 years of hands-on configuration experience in SAP PP / Pl2Pr

  • Minimum 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA v2019 or later

  • Experience deploying a global template with US localization

  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed

  • Provide last 4 digits of driver's license for submission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Long-term and variant-based aircraft demand planning & forecasting

  • Predictive MRP and multi-level production planning

  • Engineering Change Management including ECM Workbench and Parameter Effectivity

  • Planning with Grouping, Pegging, Distribution

  • Integration with Teamcenter (PLM) and Solumina (MES)

  • Support for MTO/ATO, Project Systems, and Complex Assembly Processing

  • Long-lead item planning, network-based procurement planning

  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Capacity Planning

  • Configuration of ETO / ATO / MTO / MTS production scenarios

  • Integration of MES and downstream systems

  • Handling Product Costing, Availability Check, and Subcontracting from Production Orders

  • Production support for MRO and Spares

  • Handling of Scrap, Remanent, and Co-production scenarios

  • Support for serial and batch-managed production environments

General & Integration Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cross-functional SAP modules: MM, SD, QM, WM

  • Experience in Master Data Management, data governance, analytics, and reporting

  • Experience with Activate Methodology, blueprinting, testing, go-live, and support

  • Deep knowledge of PP/DS integration and planning optimization

  • Ability to define technical integrations, write functional specs, and collaborate with SAP partners

Preferred Cross-Functional Expertise in at least one:

  • QM (Quality Management)

  • PEO (Production Engineering & Operations)

  • EHS (Environment, Health, Safety)

  • PP/DS (Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling)

  • eSPP (Extended Service Parts Planning)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years consulting or equivalent business process experience

  • 5+ years of SAP system configuration in Production Planning / Pl2Pr

  • Completion of 3+ full lifecycle S/4HANA (v2019+) implementations

  • Global template rollout and localization experience

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work across departments
