Our client, a leading company in the technology and insights sector, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Tester to join their quality assurance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.

You will be involved across the full testing lifecycle, working closely with developers, analysts, and senior testers to ensure applications meet high standards of quality, functionality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

·         Review and understand software requirements and technical specifications

·         Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases

·         Identify, log, and track software defects through to resolution

·         Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure product quality

·         Learn and apply industry-recognised testing tools, techniques, and best practices

Requirements

·         Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

·         Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

·         Basic understanding of software development and testing principles

·         Familiarity with SQL or Excel for data validation is advantageous

·         Knowledge of testing tools (e.g. Selenium, JIRA) or programming languages (e.g. Python, Java) is a plus
