Job Details
Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Requirements
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent * in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Building APIs in a cloud native environment, utilizing best practices for security (authN, authZ), resulting in resilient, scalable deployments; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins, including knowledge of CI/CD best practices and toolsets, including GitHub; Oracle relational DB, and best practices for developing data access layer services for highly available resilient APIs for the enterprise; Object Oriented programming Languages including Java, as well as proficiency with Linux and scripting languages; API Frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot for developing microservices; Automation testing frameworks, including Selenium and Cucumber, Unit Testing, Integration Testing. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. Eligible for telecommuting from home within commuting distance to Collierville, TN.
