About the Role:

Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional data initiatives. In this role, you will be empowered to guide diverse project teams, using your professional judgment and experience to deliver significant business value. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of complex data product implementations, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and deliver real benefits to our patients.

This position is ideal for an adaptable leader who thrives in an environment where teammates have a high degree of responsibility and where business needs evolve throughout the project lifecycle. While process and reporting are part of the role, your primary focus will be on leadership, strategic delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Delivery:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of 2-4 large-scale, complex IT data projects simultaneously.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure commitments are met on time and within quality parameters.
Develop and maintain key project artifacts, including schedules, communication plans, and staffing plans.
Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and blockers, escalating to leadership as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
Quickly earn the trust of project sponsors, executives, and key stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, collaborating effectively with senior IT leaders and business executives to define, plan, and deliver complex projects.
Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships based on trust and respect.
Represent the project in governance meetings and various inter-departmental forums.
  • Team & Financial Management:
Lead cross-functional project teams composed of Client teammates and contractors, including Data and Test Engineers, Architects, and Analysts.
Act as the single accountable party for managing and reporting on the project budget. This includes validating forecasts, tracking actual spend, managing variances, and approving project labor.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

* 4+ years of experience managing IT software development projects with a strong track record of successful technology implementations.

* Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently at all levels of the organization.

* Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and influencing skills.

* Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

* PMP or Agile certification.

* Experience with Agile/Iterative project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and PPM tools (e.g., Apptio Targetprocess).

* Proficiency in financial management tools (e.g., Apptio One, Excel).

Nice to Have: * Experience with managing vendor implementations from RFP to completion. * Familiarity with working in a Product-Centric Organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree, PMP
