OVERVIEW:

  • The AOC Information & Technology Services Department is seeking a contract resource for the role of Project Manager. The Project Manager facilitates completion of projects in a timely manner through task delegation, activity monitoring, proactive communication, and conflict resolution. The Project Manager develops project assets, manages change requests/risks/issues, reports project status, reviews financials, and ensures methodology compliance and continuous process improvement. The Project Manager will serve as the APP Administrator ensuring application operability following system implementation.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Administer all aspects of an assigned project including, but not limited to contract management, financial management, schedule management resource management, issue management, vendor management, communications (internal and customer), and standards compliance while embracing defined the standard project delivery methodology.
    • Foster and improve relationships between and among internal departments to facilitate effective project delivery.
    • Contribute to the organizational goals and objectives of the department.
    • Ensure project assets are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
    • Monitor project tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
    • Manage assigned projects to achieve successful implementations (on time and within budget).
    • Perform project accounting functions as required by project tailoring guidelines (i.e., projected vs. actual budget, reconciliation against estimates, project profitability, revenue, margins, bull rates, utilization).
    • Build consensus for the transition while spearheading change management efforts.
    • Review and make recommendations regarding any/all proposed project changes.
    • Interface with leadership at all levels regarding project status, providing reports and written communication updates as warranted.
    • Facilitate interaction with the vendor and team members.
    • Set team and customer expectations.
    • Coordinate all logistics for conversion/interfaces and integrations/rollout with all justice partners/agencies.
    • Work with appropriate resources to assist in project audits as deemed necessary.
    • Serve as the Application Administrator post go-live ensuring application operability following system implementation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Education: College Diploma or University Degree
    • Experience: 5+ years Project Manager work experience.

     

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (LICENSES, REGULATIONS, CERTIFICATES, ADVANCED EDUCATION, ETC.)

    • PMP Certification is preferred.

     

    TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • 08:00 – 17:00 M-F
    • Telework option may be available.
    • Occasional travel between training locations potentially required.
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
    • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
