Will work with AMS (App Mgt Support) team to start on standardizing CI/CD process, using SonarQube, and work with teams on providing best practices direction on deployment pipelines. Ensure correct structure is in place, quality deployment processes; build an end to end process
As a Full Stack DevOps Engineer Lead, you will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for building and scaling our architecture, ensuring high availability, and implementing best practices in DevOps. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities to drive projects and initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Develop and optimize infrastructure as code with CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage SonarQube integration across all repositories, ensuring code quality and security standards are met.
- Enforce NextEra coding standards and best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Drive automation of processes and systems to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the build and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack DevOps Engineer with leadership or team lead experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
