Position Overview
A skilled System Administrator 2 is needed for a 6-month assignment to support a PC refresh initiative and provide ongoing Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support. This role is essential for ensuring a seamless technical environment for staff through effective system administration and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support via onsite visits, phone, and remote tools to local and remote staff.
Configure, deploy, and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets, and various approved peripheral devices (e.g., printers, multifunction devices).
Monitor, track, and resolve issues submitted through the organization's helpdesk ticketing system.
Provide basic hardware and software training to end users as needed.
Assist in meeting project milestones and deadlines, documenting recommendations and resolutions.
Work closely with IT leads and team members to support smooth daily operations and project success.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11
1+ years working with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and Office 365
Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) is preferred
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
