Job duties: Design fully automated, highly available, resilient low latency and scalable distributed systems for Schwab Trading Platform. Lead efforts to develop, build, and deploy new and existing applications into Public Cloud Platform environments. Recommend software upgrades for customers as a key participant in the Digital Transformation Program, helping Schwab innovate on behalf of clients and investors. Produce highly usable and scalable web software solutions. Analyze user needs, design, and develop software to meet those needs. Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together. Create a variety of models and diagrams showing programmers the software code needed for an application, focusing on safe and resilient production code. Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing. Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Mentor team members on technical skills.
What you have
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 72 months of progressive, post-bachelor's related experience. Experience must include 72 months of experience in each of the following skills: NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, and Angular (including custom web component); Version control and CI using Bitbucket or Github; Configurations using node modules, webpack, and Gulp; and Developing software systems, web applications, RESTful Web APIs using Javascript, Web API, and custom web components.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
