Job Details
Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC (or travel to HQ once per quarter)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA teammates to define testing requirements
- Create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases based on software requirements
- Identify and document bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Retest resolved bugs and conduct regression tests across browsers/platforms
- Participate in retrospectives and improve QA processes and tools
- Communicate effectively in a team environment, balancing independence and collaboration
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of manual software QA experience
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC practices
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Experience with Jira, Postman/Insomnia, and SQL
- Familiarity with Kanban or Waterfall methodologies
- Bonus: Experience with automated testing tools or data science is a plus
