RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Charlotte, NC.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly technical Project Manager to join our Fortune 500 client's Data Delivery Platform team. This role will focus on Data Analytics and platform delivery which involve modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Jira, AWS, and Agile methodologies, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate across multiple IT teams.
Responsibilities:
* Project Manager will support multiple projects within the Data Delivery platform, helping modernize and migrate applications to the cloud
* Write project plans, gather details for project artifacts, and assist with project reporting using Jira
* Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to prioritize and support platform and software delivery
* Work closely with business stakeholders, ensuring polished presentations and effective communication
* Help manage the transition of Tableau and SAS to cloud-based solutions
* Operate within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall project management environment, participating in two-week sprints for SLP initiatives
* As a Project Manager, you will work within Cherwell and Jira for ticketing and tracking project progress
* Support multiple teams by assisting in the stand-up of new software or services within on-prem and cloud hardware environments
* Ensure effective collaboration with IT vendors and external teams, managing relationships with 2-3 external vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong technical background in IT project management, with experience supporting enterprise-level projects
* Experience in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment and familiarity with two-week sprint cycles
* Hands-on expertise with Jira and Cloud Technologies like AWS and Azure
* Strong communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders
* Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
* Ability to collaborate with multiple IT teams, managing project components rather than entire projects from start to finish
* Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
