We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow professional to take ownership of our ITSM platform and drive continuous improvement across our enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable workflows, and ensuring the platform operates at peak performance. You'll partner with IT and business teams to design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions that streamline operations and deliver measurable impact.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the daily administration, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow environment.
- Develop and deploy new features, modules, and automations to improve service delivery and system efficiency.
- Work with business partners to understand process needs and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions.
- Build integrations between ServiceNow and other key enterprise systems to support data flow and reporting.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements while adhering to platform governance and change management standards.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain stability, availability, and user satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, workflows, and system design decisions.
- Provide technical mentorship and share best practices with peers and junior team members.
- Collaborate with information security to enforce access policies and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
- Stay current on new ServiceNow capabilities and proactively identify opportunities to expand or modernize platform use.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting ServiceNow in a complex environment.
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (CIS, CAD) preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITSM principles and experience implementing or maintaining core modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Catalog.
- Familiarity with scripting and customization using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience integrating external systems via REST, SOAP, or MID Server.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and how they apply to platform design and automation.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive mindset toward system reliability and performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with comfort engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
