Job Description

This position provides IT systems support within a government agency environment. The position functions as an information technology professional, participating in or overseeing a variety of analytical and programming assignments that provide for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated information systems. These applications may run in network, client server, and/or web server environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform problem analysis, programming, peer code review, unit/system testing, and testing related to platform upgrades and security updates.
Execute data loading using tools and support integrations with other applications.
Execute system tests and manage software source control and versioning for developed code.
Carry out new development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other IT service teams and enterprise technology groups.

Required Skills:

4 8 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform development, including Microsoft Dynamics and Power Portal development.
4 8 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, XML/SOAP, JSON, REST API, and SQL.
4 8 years of experience with application and database development and access methods.
3 5 years of experience in web-based and object-oriented application design techniques and tools.
3 5 years of demonstrated ability to analyze problems, gather and correlate data, and propose effective IT solutions.
3 5 years of experience in preparing detailed written technical documentation and user instructions.
