EPAM is hiring a Radio Frequency Engineer to work closely with our high-tech client, 100% onsite in Cupertino, CA. In this role, you will coordinate and execute RF characterizations and test plans, automate test systems using industry-standard RF equipment, perform EM and RF circuit simulations, and conduct antenna measurements and RF parametric data collection to support product development and mass production.
This is a temporary position lasting 6+ months, with the possibility of extension, and will be fully onsite at the client's laboratory in Cupertino, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and execute RF characterizations and test plans for advanced consumer electronics
- Automate RF test systems, including integration and control of signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers, and other lab equipment
- Perform electromagnetic (EM) and RF circuit simulations to analyze and optimize characterization platforms
- Conduct antenna measurements and collect RF parametric data to support product development and mass production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless technologies (cellular, GPS, WiFi, NFC) into products
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for running automated RF tests
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in RF engineering, including hardware or antenna design
- Strong knowledge of integrating wireless technologies (cellular, GPS, WiFi, NFC) into consumer products
- Proficiency with electromagnetic/circuit simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or Cadence
- Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation and measurement techniques
- Experience developing automation frameworks using C/C++, Python, and shell scripting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
