The AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation necessary for our treatments to positively impact patients' lives. In the role of Sr. Product Manager, Digital Solutions and Services, you'll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.

As a Sr. Product Manager of Digital Solutions and Services, you will lead the development and management of digital technology programs supporting AbbVie's US Commercial Therapeutic business areas of Immunology, Oncology, Neuroscience, Eye Care, and Specialty. This role entails having both a strategic as well as tactical mindset with a deep understanding of all aspects of the Digital Product Lifecycle for the respective business areas while managing the product business requirements from concept to production launch.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
  • Proactively understanding business strategies, setting the product strategy and overseeing its execution. This role will work closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, developers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across on objectives and deliverables.
  • Planning and overseeing a portfolio of digital and web-oriented technology projects from ideation to completion, including securing cross-functional alignment on project scope, benefits, cost, and timeline.
  • Leading the Agile POD teams responsible for requirements, epics, user stories, technical development, testing and platform services.
  • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the product as part of their role.
  • Proactively partnering with the AbbVie Digital Lab team on technology capabilities, and influence/develop capabilities roadmaps.
  • Staying on top of technology trends and perform the required technical research and due diligence when necessary to enable business outcomes.
  • Collaborating across a highly matrixed organization, to impact and influence development of both existing and upcoming technology solutions leveraged within the Brand Marketing function.

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years' experience; Master's Degree with 7 years' experience; or PhD with 3 years' experience.
  • 2+ years' project financial planning and cost estimation experience.
  • Prior experience with leading and managing either direct or indirect reports.
  • Strong understanding of digital and web-oriented technologies and Agile practices to manage the delivery teams.
  • Experience with leading and managing Agile projects in a digital ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions with the goal of creating a scalable and reusable business solution along with effective partnerships.
  • Having a customer centric mindset with a strong understanding of the technology, process, and tools to deliver the features, capabilities and solutions required to support their business unit and corresponding brand teams.
  • Innovative thinking and the ability to leverage past business technology experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment.
  • Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve end user's experience.
  • Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results.
  • Ability to self-manage time and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Beneficial
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical market including role of providers, patients, payers, distributors, and policy makers.
  • Experience in a digital marketing organization leading, developing, and architecting digital websites and capabilities.
  • Broad awareness of the technology required to implement Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other Digital Marketing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Adobe and/or Google Analytics.
