We're seeking a SCADA Systems Engineer to join our Digital Solutions team, focusing on the design and deployment of advanced Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for a major transportation client. This isn't just a programming role; it's a systems engineering and integration position requiring an understanding of complex, distributed industrial control architectures and operational technology (OT) networking. The successful candidate will be a high-impact technical team member responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of mission-critical SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Focus:
  • SCADA Project Deployment: Experience with the hands-on engineering, configuration, and deployment of large-scale SCADA projects from conception through commissioning.
  • HMI/Screen Design: Experience with the design, development, and implementation of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screen graphics.
  • High-Volume Tag Management: Proven experience in projects involving 50,000+ tag SCADA environments is highly desirable.
  • Protocol Integration: Apply a solid understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA (or similar standards like Modbus, DNP3) to ensure seamless data exchange between PLCs, servers, and business systems.

Required Platform Expertise:

Primary Expertise (Non-Negotiable):
  • Ignition by Inductive Automation - Perspective Module: Proven, deep professional experience in developing, configuring, and deploying solutions using the Ignition platform, with specific emphasis on the mobile-responsive Perspective Module.
  • Secondary Expertise (Experience in one or more is prefered):
  • AVEVA System Platform (Wonderware ArchestrA)
  • Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE
  • Schneider Electric Geo SCADA Expert (formerly ClearSCADA)
  • GE Digital iFIX (modern versions)
  • Emerson Movicon / PACEdge

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience focused on the design and deployment of industrial SCADA/I&C systems.
  • Work Location: Preference will be given to candidates based in the Northeast U.S.; however, the position is open to remote work for the right exceptional candidate.

103,600.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

140,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $103,600.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
