Job Summary:

Seeking a ServiceNow Service Mapping expert to help in supporting a large global organization. This individual will work alongside the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team and lead the effort to implement Service Mapping for in-scope business applications.

Job Description:

Deploy and manage ServiceNow Service Mapping solutions for both on-premise and cloud resources.

Document technical requirements for mapping each application.

Define, create, and monitor Service Mapping health reports and dashboards.

Identify, investigate, and resolve Service Mapping issues in a timely manner.

Configure dynamic CI groups, where needed, following CSDM framework.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Application SMEs to create new service maps/patterns using a variety of methods.

Work with Asset Management Developers to create/update Discovery patterns where needed to facilitate Service Mapping

Collaborate with ITSM stakeholders to demonstrate Service Mapping benefits for Incident & Change Management

Required Qualifications:

Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and the ITOM suite

Advanced experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping (new/custom patterns) and impact assessment rules on more recent platform versions

Working experience using CSDM framework & configuring dynamic CI groups

3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM/Service Mapping

Experience with public and private cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and their corresponding APIs

Familiarity with Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware) to help traverse those layers in service map patterns.

Data source APIs/Service Graph Connectors

Required Skills:

- Hands on experience with rolling out ServiceNow service mapping

- Communication Skills

- Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience (ServiceNow)

Preferred Skills:

- ITILv3 Certification

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Service Mapping

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
