Job Description:

We are searching for a Computer Network Defense Analyst to help protect and secure our network environment. You will use information from various sources, such as intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs, to identify and analyze potential security events. Additionally, you will provide detailed reports on threats, offering insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and safeguard the network.

The Level 3 CDNA shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Utilize data from various computer network defense resources (e.g., intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, host system logs) to identify potential security events.
  • Analyze and interpret network defense data to assess security risks and possible threats.
  • Report on events occurring or that may occur within the network environment, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, Master's Degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 4 years of experience
  • 18 semester hours of military training/coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate's degree
  • Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
