Essential Functions:
- Monitor, manage, and configure the client's servers, endpoints, and devices.
- Alert stakeholders for outages and service degradation. Record the Incidents and correlate them to prevent future issues.
- Identify client RPO/RTO and design, implement, and support BCDR plans
- Ensure client servers, endpoints, and devices maintain the newest released patches/firmware.
- Manage, Document, and Configure client backups; including remediation when issues arise.
- Create documentation for client environments including network topology diagrams.
- Assist Network Engineer on outages and issues.
- Create policies, standards, and procedures for the NOC Team.
- Design remediation for identified vulnerabilities as identified.
- Responsible for handling all proactive communications with clients and setting expectations during service outages.
- Manage SAN/NAS and other storage solutions.
- Communicate with third party vendors and partners to resolve issues as needed.
- Work and Track client projects to completion.
- Communicate and Resolve issues with other teams in Summit 7.
- Create Automation and Workflow for common tasks.
- Manage Hyper-V and/or VMware
- Manage on-prem backups
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Customer onboarding to management systems
- Software management and deployment
- Hardware management and deployment
- Other duties as assigned.
Required
- Five (5)+ years of hands on experience directly related to the listed essential functions.
- Experience with building servers/hypervisors, server upgrades, and migrations.
- Solid proficiency with Active Directory
- Security+ CE Certification or IAT Level 2 equivalent
- Administrative skills in several operating systems, such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android, and iPhone OS
- Proficient in Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Basic networking, supporting, and monitoring of Firewalls, Switches, WAPS, endpoints, servers, etc.
- Administrative experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Tools
- Administrative understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure
- Experience managing antivirus at an administrative level.
- Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and technical personnel in high-stress situations.
- Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development.
- Ability to identify and evaluate trends in industry best practices and policies.
- S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check.
- Experience Automating Tasks and Processes.
- Experience using Out of Band (OOB) tools, iDRAC, or iLO.
