Location: Dallas, Tx (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

DevOps Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve software delivery processes.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies across teams.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Release Management Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Define and enforce release policies, processes, and standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a release calendar and communicate release plans to stakeholders.
• Manage risks and resolve issues that may affect release scope, schedule, or quality.
• Conduct post-release reviews and implement improvements to the release process.
• Ensure proper version control and documentation for all releases.
• Act as the primary point of contact for release-related activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, release management, or related roles.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Github actions, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Certifications (Preferred):
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar certifications.
