Job Title: ABAP Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Minneapolis, MN, or Atlanta GA area.

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Contract -to-Hire Opportunity

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00 PM (Normal business hours. Hybrid schedules prefer to have someone onsite at Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis, MN area.

Required qualifications. We re looking for stronger candidates please refer to the bullet points below for guidance on what to emphasize in your sourcing:

  1. ABAP engineer with over 7 years of experience
  2. Hands-on experience building integrations to SAP for Power Platform and/or Azure
  3. Hands-on experience supporting the build of Power Apps connectors (ERP Connector, SAP Connector) for flow integrations to RFC and OData services in SAP
  4. Not only configuration experience, and not experience with BTP Integration Suite configuration, but experience exposing end points and builds in the SAP back end
  5. They are supporting a project to replatform data upload scripts to Power Platform. They should have experience building custom integrations to SAP (CDS views, wrappers, methods for integrations, exposing endpoints, opening ports, etc.) and be able to consult on integration design for new integrations.

Job Description: ABAP integrations to support the BTP and Microsoft platforms (Azure, Power Platform)
 Understand latest architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends for SAP, BTP, and Microsoft
Provide technical leadership and is responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies and plans on an ongoing basis
Manage configuration and layout of enterprise infrastructure
Perform necessary infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Cargill's policies
Research and recommend best practices, as applicable, for the following areas: business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery, and archiving
Perform capacity planning and disaster recovery planning and design as applicable.
Recommend changes to procedures which result in operational optimization
Promote shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows, and ensure that projects do not duplicate infrastructure or diverge from business and IT strategies

Relevant Experience Performance on projects:
with specific modules and functional areas contemplated for the project
performing configuration of In-Scope Modules
