Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $48,800 to $61,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

A Brief OverviewAs a Technician I, you will be a vital member of the Electrical Operations Team (EOT) responsible for responding to electrical needs and concerns, and electrical activities within company facilities, including but not limited to performing daily service requests as needed and other tasks as assigned. Technician's may be assigned to more than one facility as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Degree from an Accredited Institution Related Field required.
- A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Must posses basic electrical and mechanical knowledge ( required )
- Knowledge of electrical controls and electrical A.C. and D.C. systems with training in OSHA general industry electrical safety standards.
- Training in National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements.
- Previous training in electrical Arc Flash requirements.
- Basic troubleshooting experience in A.C. and D.C. electrical systems.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic understanding of 48V D.C. applications.
- Working knowledge of thermal imaging test equipment.
- Must possess a valid state Driver's License and provide proof of liability coverage meeting company standards.

Responsibilities:
- Performs service work based on ticketing system and update ticketing system as necessary.
- Completes work orders associated with building or grounds, as requested. Includes but not limited to power-up and power-down of equipment.
- Performs inventory and general maintenance of power cord adaptors which includes but not limited to: informing supervisor/manager of low inventory and overseeing assembly of new power cord adaptors.
- Maintains facility assets through scheduled preventative maintenance and repair activities which includes but not limited to: UPS system, IDF cabinets, and electrical distribution equipment inspections.
- Participates in departmental on-call program, as necessary and willingness to work day or evening shifts.
- Champions overall safety in the department by demonstrating an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and electrical best practice.
- Maintains all tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order.
- Adheres to all safety requirements and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment required by the job.
- Responds to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
- Complies with OSHA, and other local, state and federal regulations.
- Adheres to the overall organizational and the Facilities Department policies and procedures including appropriate attire, grooming and attendance.
- Interacts effectively, build relationships, and demonstrate a high level of cooperation.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
- Willing to participate in both external and internal continuing education opportunities.
