Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer SailPoint IIQ

Location: Central NJ (Onsite/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Client

Leading FinTech organization recognized for innovation and strong governance in the digital financial ecosystem seeking a skilled IAM Engineer experienced in SailPoint IdentityIQ to strengthen their identity lifecycle management and access governance framework.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage identity lifecycle processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) using SailPoint IIQ.

  • Lead and support access certification campaigns, entitlement remediation, and nested group issues.

  • Configure and maintain SailPoint connectors for provisioning/de-provisioning.

  • Develop and configure SailPoint modules audit, compliance, lifecycle, and service accounts.

  • Design, test, and troubleshoot custom connectors and workflows.

  • Build IAM dashboards/reports; support internal/external audits (FFIEC, PCI, SOC, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).

  • Provide guidance and training on IAM standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, secure IAM solutions.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 4+ years in SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation and integration.

  • Strong understanding of SailPoint IIQ 8.4 architecture, schema objects, and database interactions.

  • Experience in performance tuning, certification optimization, and DB cleanup/archival.

  • Proficient in JDBC troubleshooting, app server logs (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss), and scripting (PowerShell).

  • Familiarity with Mainframe, AIX/Unix, Windows, and Active Directory environments.

  • Desired: Financial services background and certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP).

  • Experience with REST APIs is a plus.
