We're seeking a skilled Telecom Solutions Engineer to join a high-performing Corporate IT Operations team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing robust telecom solutions, ensuring our company's offices have the best possible communication infrastructure. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead special projects, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to daily operational data analysis.

responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Solutions: Plan, design, and provide ongoing support for complex telecom solutions, including core telephony, collaboration, and contact center environments. Act as a technical lead for installation, configuration, and operational support.
- Troubleshoot and Support: Provide second and third-level technical support to resolve telecom issues for internal clients and technical teams.
- Innovate and Strategize: Evaluate new technologies and propose opportunities to improve the future telecom architecture, performance, and services.
- Collaborate and Advise: Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure all deployed solutions meet security requirements. Assist in the investigation and analysis of security alerts.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain full compliance with key controls and technical service requirements for all telecom architecture, designs, and implementations.
qualifications:
- Experience: At least seven years of telecom management experience with deep expertise in troubleshooting and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Contact Center Expertise: Experience directly supporting complex contact center environments with elements like call prioritization, advanced routing, IVRs, Dialers, API integration, call recording, and call reporting.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of telecom operations support, including PBX, IVR, carrier operations, call processing, and network management.
- Design and Architecture: Proven experience with telecom design and development, as well as high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures.
- Communication: Excellent follow-up and customer service skills. The ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience developing technical diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio.
- Work Ethic: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with limited direction. Willingness to adjust your work schedule occasionally for after-hours or weekend requirements and participate in an on-call support rotation.
