Job Title: Data Analyst (AWS, SQL, Python, Databricks)
Location: Virginia (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C or 1099)
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years
Hourly Rate: $30 $35/hr (W2)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role based in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, AWS, and Databricks, and a proven ability to analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data across multiple sources.

  • Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and data pipeline development.

  • Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.) for data storage and processing.

  • Use Databricks for big data processing and advanced analytics.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).

  • Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, analysis, and scripting.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS (especially S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).

  • Working experience with Databricks and Spark.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Work Authorization: W2 Consultants only (No C2C or 1099)

  • Location: Must be local to VA or willing to relocate.

  • Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite 2 3 days/week)
