Job Details
Job: Database Developer/ETL
Location: Raleigh, NC ( Hybrid)
Must be local to NC ( Inperson interview)
Role Types: Database Analyst, Database Programmer
Expected Skills: Able to work in a team environment as well as without assistance; can provide input and feedback to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
- Data analysis and database management
- Designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning
- Creation of requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.)
- Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing
- Conducting data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance .
Skills:
- Understand data structures and schemas, and implementing appropriate indexes.
- Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity
- Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS)
- Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a database
- Use of at least one data cleansing tool
- Able to create and execute test cases
- Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work

- Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process
- Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets
