Foundation Solution Architect

Role Title: Sage Solution Architect

Duration: 1 month contract, possible extension

Preferred Location: Remote with 30% travel

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sage Solution Architect to join our team for a short-term engagement focused on performing a current state assessment of our Sage ERP environment. This role will play a critical part in evaluating our existing system configuration, integrations, and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and alignment with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive current state review of the Sage ERP platform (Sage Intacct, Sage 100 Construction and Sage 300).
• Analyze system configurations, workflows, reporting structures, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users to gather feedback and pain points.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in both system functionality and business processes.
• Document findings and create actionable recommendations for short- and long-term improvements.
• Present assessment results and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise with Sage ERP in a construction industry environment.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows (job costing, project management, payroll, Revenue Recognition, Project Budgeting and Forecasting, Project Financials etc.).
• Experience with ERP configuration, reporting, and integration with third-party systems.
• Exceptional business analysis, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
