IT Systems ERP Manager Location: Denver, CO | Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: Base + Bonus

A fast-paced, mid-sized organization in the Denver area is looking to bring on an experienced IT Systems ERP Manager to oversee and guide their Oracle Cloud ERP environment across Finance, HR, and Procurement functions. This leader will serve as the essential link between overseas development resources and internal business users, with a strong emphasis on clear, proactive communication.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of business insight, leadership, and ERP systems knowledge (particularly Oracle Fusion), and can effectively align system operations with the needs of executive stakeholders and functional departments.


Key Role Highlights:

  • Act as the primary liaison between technical ERP teams (international) and business stakeholders (mainly Accounting, HR, and Finance).

  • Own communication workflows that ensure timely updates, accurate translation of technical details, and high-level visibility for executive stakeholders.

  • Lead a team of 8 direct reports, including consultants and ERP support personnel, driving accountability and performance through coaching not coding.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and long-term roadmap for a suite of Oracle Cloud modules (ERP, HCM, Procurement, and EPM), ensuring they remain secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

  • Work collaboratively with HR and Finance leadership to optimize system usability and support decision-making.

  • Serve as the operational lead for all system administration, governance, vendor coordination, and system enhancement efforts.

  • Provide input and guidance to the PMO on ERP-related project workstreams, without directly managing project timelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ERP environments, including oversight of upgrades, patching, vendor relationships, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Supervise and mentor cross-functional technical staff, leading performance reviews, talent development, and team structuring.

  • Define and uphold protocols for data privacy, compliance, and audit-readiness in all ERP operations.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve system effectiveness across Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, and HCM platforms.

  • Use reporting and analytics tools to provide operational transparency and drive continual improvement.

  • Work closely with the development team to offer strategic coaching, identify roadblocks, and enable process refinement.

  • Maintain executive-level visibility of key projects and system health through professional, confident, and executive-friendly communications.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (10+ years of relevant work experience may substitute). MBA or MIS is preferred.

  • At least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing ERP systems and technical teams, with Oracle Cloud experience required.

  • Strong experience supporting enterprise ERP users in Finance and HR functions.

  • Demonstrated success managing external vendors and contract consultants.

  • Prior involvement in enterprise application governance, system change management, and compliance planning.

  • Familiar with Oracle Fusion s financial suite, procure-to-pay processes, cloud integration capabilities, and PL/SQL fundamentals.

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
