Job Details
This role focuses on managing and supporting enterprise endpoint devices, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. The position involves resolving technical support tickets, deploying updates and software through modern device management tools, and collaborating with senior engineers to maintain and enhance endpoint infrastructure. The Desktop Engineer will also contribute to documentation, reporting, and ensuring adherence to IT service management best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for endpoint devices by addressing escalated service tickets and troubleshooting OS and provisioning issues.
- Deploy operating system updates, security patches, and business applications using tools including Intune, Patch My PC, and JAMF.
- Support zero-touch provisioning processes including Windows Autopilot and Apple Business Manager device enrollment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and reports using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power BI, and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements, assist with device rollouts, and support change management initiatives.+
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience supporting enterprise IT environments, preferably with Azure and Microsoft Intune.
- Familiarity with major enterprise applications such as Adobe, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft 365, and VPN solutions.
- Solid knowledge of endpoint management tools including JAMF and Intune.
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools for automation and reporting.
- Must obtain or currently hold one of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or JAMF 200 certification.
