Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Quality Senior Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Ensure adherence to Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP) requirements, including understanding consumption requirements, confirming completeness, accuracy, timeliness and granularity of inbound and outbound data and relevant details of their sources. Serve as subject matter expert on Citi Data Management Policy (CDMP), Trusted Sources methodology, data quality, metadata standards and metadata management process, and provide guidance on Issue Management & Resolution (IMR) and End User Computing (EUC). Review requirements and verify controls are in accordance with the Trusted Sources Methodology, with support from data stewards and data custodians. Review changes to CDEs and Corporate CDEs with support from data stewards and business architects by data domain, and assess impact on the Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP). Enhance the trustworthiness and usage of data from applications and systems that are the Trusted Sources, which include Systems of Origin, Systems of Record and Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP). Coordinate with data custodians, data stewards and other support teams regarding Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP) operations, data quality in the Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP), data demand and consumption requirements, and open data quality exceptions and issues. Oversee provision of quality data from upstream data sources into the Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP), and from the Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP) to downstream consumers. Collaborate with process owners, data stewards, and reporting roles to understand consumption requirements and ensure they are being fulfilled in a timely manner. Responsible for access control, storage, data quality and process improvement. Analyze and document the issues, risks and missing control process for all applications to be fully compliant. Perform data access control and quality checks to ensure safe, accurate, consistent, timeliness and proper storage are in place within each line of business. Partner with process owners and data stewards on potential process enhancements. Lead implementation of demonstrable controls to identify, document and resolve weaknesses in the Systems of Origin, Systems of Record, and Authoritative Provisioning Point (APP). Support initiatives to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports in Tableau, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality. Partnership with internal teams to understand the reporting requirements and design dashboards/views and presentations using tools like Tableau, MS Excel and PowerPoint. Develop methods to identify data patterns and trends in available data sources, perform data quality analytics, and identify data challenges. Optimize and support metrics reporting process and key stages of the data concern lifecycle. Monitor key SLAs and the drivers of each to promote risk reduction for the firm. Support senior management strategic vision. Proactively support the team in the form of ad hoc projects. Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges, and ensure adherence to data/issue management process. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience as an Associate - Projects, System Testing & Validation Consultant, or related position involving data quality and data management strategy. At least 2 years of experience must include: Application database management system to diagnose problems and ensure applications stay compliant; Using data query, data analytics, and data visualization; andIT project management, including meeting deadlines and maintaining proper documentation. At least 1 year of experience must include: Constructing and developing data pipelines that integrate data quality rules to reduce complexity, bottlenecks, repetition, and guesswork; Big data analytics to diagnose process flow, understand the metadata and data lineage of applications, and categorize them into systems of Trusted Sources; MS Excel and PowerPoint pertaining to data analytics and presentations; and Excel pivot tables, power query, VLOOKUP's and formulas.
